About the event
Blacksburg is home for baseball alumni at the end of October (it's also Halloween - fun will be in the air):
- Thurs night (10/26) 5:00 pm: Pregame tailgate in Lot 1, space 646 for the Hump2Hartman folks. The monogram club will be hosting former athletes one row behind us (a little closer to Cassell than last year, but still nearby). Come early and spend some time catching up before the big Thursday night football game. Tailgate lots open around 5 pm, but hit town early.
- Thurs night (10/26) 7:30 pm: VT football plays Syracuse. Revenge match after Syracuse squeeked out a victory in our last meeting. I have 1 extra ticket if someone is coming solo. hokietickets.com also still has tickets available for the game, but we have sold out every game this year, so don't wait too long to buy yours.
- Fri afternoon (10/27) 1 pm: The Virginia Tech Baseball program will host its inaugural Fall Golf Outing on Friday, Oct. 27th, at Auburn Hills Golf Club in Riner, Virginia. Shotgun start at 1 pm. Sign up to play here: link
- Fri - Sat (10/27-29) Times TBD: Hokies’ three-game Fall World Series, the team’s annual intrasquad competition, taking place at English Field at Atlantic Union Bank Park (game times to be announced at a later date). Entrance is free.
